Lincoln North Star Invite (Video Recap)

The team continues to progress as Championship Season is on the horizon.

The race at Lincoln’s Pioneers Park is a test for a number of runners. It’s good for the team to race the course because it is likely they will be running their district race there.

• We had fifteen student athletes set a new seasons best time at the course.

• Lily Nass and Henry Dawes medaled in their respective JV Races.

• Freddy Rubio-Acosta ran the fastest on the team with a 17:51.

• Boys Varsity placed 6th place out of 12 teams.

All done with the team’s best runner, Liam Murphy, not running because of health concerns.

There has been a lot of health “stuff” around the team, but I think we are getting better and in good position as the calendar hits October. There is a lot of depth within the team, especially on the boys side. We have twenty-one boys under 22:00. Last year, we had thirteen for the entire season. Things are progressing well.
